Born and raised in the Halisa neighborhood in Haifa. Studied at a Chabad kindergarten, and was educated at the Reali Hebrew School in Haifa.
Served as a tank commander and platoon sergeant in the Armored Corps, (March 94-97), and continued to serve and volunteer in the reserves until 2019.
During the service - the helicopter disaster (Aishia), Operation Protective Wall (Salafi), the Second Lebanon War (Fati Bint Jbeil).
Distinguished Battalion (2007) and Distinguished Chief Armor Officer (2013).
Studied for a bachelor's degree in computer science and an outstanding BA program at the University of Haifa
He has 3 second degrees: Philosophy (Haifa), Business Administration (Technion) and Jewish Studies (Shechter).
Participated in the European and World Championships as part of the Haifa University Debate Club.
Worked as a programmer at Kibbutz Mishmar Ha'Emek and as head of a development team at a large American corporation.
Founded and CEO of the Carmel Software Cooperative for two years.
His first book of songs is called "You can also love (ordered)".
His second book "Back to the Land of the Cedars" was published in the summer of 2023 (Niv Books).
He was one of the leaders of the 2011-12 protest in Haifa and the north. Among other things, he organized mass demonstrations and spoke to 30,000 people.
He volunteered at the Poultry Butchers Union as part of the "Power for Workers" organization, and was the driving force behind the new environmental struggle to clean up Haifa Bay (2013).

Happily married to Naama and the father of Matan Rafael HI.
Studied and qualified as a traditional rabbinate at the Beit Midrash for Rabbis named after Schechter in Jerusalem, Israel. He specialized in the traditional communities in Omar and Holon.
Serves as rabbi of the traditional community "Magan Avraham" in Omer.
A member of the religious understanding initiative in the Negev to promote tolerance, dialogue and good neighborliness. In 2022, the initiative won the prestigious Lashet Prize of Ben Gurion University
